BW Degree Completion Program

BW's degree completion program provides a way for adult learners to earn a bachelor of applied arts in business (BAAB), which is designed to build upon the applied skills and competencies gained from work and life experience. The program builds supervisory and managerial skills that will enable graduates to contribute to the operations of their organization.

Earn or Transfer Credits

Incoming students can test out of certain courses by demonstrating existing knowledge through the College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) and/or the BW course equivalency exams. You can also earn credits through transcript evaluation. There is no credit minimum to start.

Students with existing college credits must submit an official transcript. Transfer evaluation is available so potential students can discuss their options with an advisor before applying.

Flexible Course Options

Students build their own development plan to understand their strengths and interests through a series of assessments and then work with faculty to identify career options and potential mentors as they define a path to their professional goals.

The degree completion program offers a flexible class structure that is well-suited to working professionals as courses are offered online in an 8-week mini-mester schedule. Students will work with a BW advisor to help them build a schedule that works best for them.

Majors and Concentrations

The majors for the bachelor of applied arts in business employ an application-based instruction methodology, which provides real-world context through situational learning models. Focus is placed on developing well-rounded business leaders through the instruction of analytical reasoning, managing self and others, and strong communication.

Students will double major in marketing and management and innovation. You will also have the option to choose from three concentrations, which is dependent on the amount of transfer credits you have. Concentrations include human resources, organizational leadership and healthcare management.
